I paint what I have a hard time saying out loud.
Some of my work comes from my own experiences with childhood, trauma, silence, healing, and learning who I am outside of what happened to me. Other pieces come from the things I simply love—color, nostalgia, food, memories, and those little things that take you back somewhere.
Not everything I paint is meant to be heavy. But everything I paint has a piece of me in it.
